The Mission Observer is an important role in the aircrew search and rescue team. The MO typically sits in the right seat next to the pilot and in addition to handling radio calls and operation, assists with the G1000/650/550, keeps a log, tracks progress, operates the Becker, and participates in the search.
Prerequisite for this course is the Mission Scanner qualification.
