The Blinded Veteran Association is coming to Reno for their 73rd National Convention and they'd like our help! The BVA's convention allows their members to re-connect with friends and learn about technologies that will help to improve their life. We owe these veterans a lot and assisting them through the airport when they arrive is one way we can do that.
Responsibilities will include:
- Going through airport security many times
- Walking veterans from the gate to baggage claim and then to the waiting shuttles
- Assisting with luggage
- And whatever else they need!
CAP members will be assigned a 4-hour shift during the time period listed. If you are available at all during the event, please sign up. It's OK if your availablitily changes between now and then. We just need people to sign up so the organizers can know what to expect from us.
